FOR THIS CAUSE GOD GAVE THEM UP TO VILE AFFECTIONS.........
SATURDAY THE 31ST FOUND A SMALL GROUP OF FAITHFUL MEN ONCE AGAIN PREACHING AGAINST THE WRETCHED SIN OF HOMOSEXUALITY. AS WE ARRIVED I OVERHEARD ONE OF THE SODOMITES , WITH A SIGH , SAY "THEY ARE HERE EVERY YEAR!". MY HEART LEAPED FOR JOY THAT ,IF NOTHING ELSE, THE PERSEVERANCE OF GOD'S SERVANTS WAS BEING WITNESSED. HOWEVER I COULD NOT HELP TO FEEL THAT THE MAIN REASON THAT GOD HAD LEAD THE PREACHERS HERE FOR ANOTHER YEAR WAS TO SIMPLY ANNOUNCE JUDGMENT ON A SICK AND PERVERTED AMERICA. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS NATION! IN GOD'S NAME HAVE WE LOST OUR MINDS! TO HAVE CITIES ALL OVER THE COUNTRY HOLDING CELEBRATIONS FOR SODOMY! THE LEVEL OF DELUSION IS FRIGHTENING AND IT IS GETTING FAR WORSE. WE ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT THESE DAYS AS IF THEY WOULD NEVER COME-AND NOW HERE WE ARE. WITH NEW HATE CRIMES LEGISLATION PASSED BY THE MOST SODOMITE FRIENDLY PRESIDENT OF ALL TIME, WE NOW GET TO SEE WHO IS REAL AND WHO IS FAKE. ARE WE REALLY WILLING TO RISK JAIL OR PRISON TO GLORIFY GOD WITH OUR STREET PREACHING MINISTRIES...........YES WE ARE! NO LAW OR PUNISHMENT CAN QUENCH THE WORD OF OUR GOD, AND GOD HELP US TO STAND THE TEST OF PERSECUTION. IF YOU SKEPTICS AND THOSE WHO CALL US HATEFUL AND INTOLERANT, COULD HAVE BEEN IN ATLANTA ON SATURDAY YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A REAL IDEA OF WHO IS REALLY HATEFUL! VULGARITY AND PERVERSION OF THE UNTHINKABLE SORT SPEWED FORTH FROM ALL AROUND THOSE WOULD WOULD DARE TO PREACH GOD'S WORD! WE WERE ASSAULTED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, AND BY THE GRACE OF GOD DID NOT RENDER EVIL FOR EVIL. ReplyDeleteI went to the first Tea Party locally, in Kingsport TN.back in April. I felt it was the perfect opportunity to glorify God and His Word. I carried a sign that said..."first: America needs to repent, then: God will forgive our sin." I was video taped and interviewed several times. I told them I was only there to promote God because if we turn back to God's Word the simple problem of taxes would disolve. The remedy for our wicked ways is GOD.
God's keeping a record on what we do for Him and what we say. It's a fine line between loving the man but hating the sin. That is where wisdom from God comes in. I pray for that wisdom daily. love, aunt bebbie
You would be proud to be arrested? You are proud to stand on the street full of sinners and scream hateful remarks towards them that would show a sense of arrogance and not so much a sense of concern for the destination of their souls? Are you proud that as a sinner yourself you no doubt may have done or are currently doing things that Christ himself would deem ungodly and sinful? Are you pefect? Are you in a position to be representing the whole body of Christ on a steet corner? Do you really feel as though it is your position in this world to be the spokesperson for all of Christianity on this issue or others?
ReplyDeletePlease dont misinterpret my questions. I completely agree with what you are saying and preaching. In fact, I commend you for doing it. My concern is, however, that street preaching gives a false impression on the part of the people, namely the lost people, who see or hear some of the things that come out of your mouths. If the facade put on by a street preacher on the street is the same as the way you would be seen in say a grocery store or at home is the same, then I certainly would find no fault. My expeirence is that SOME street preachers act one way on the street and another way everywhere else. For instance, are the young men in the pictures above men that my children could look up to as role models or are they hypocrites? Is the young man holding the bible a true preacher or is he something else when around "the guys"?
I know I could never sleep at night knowing I was a street preacher. Knowing I was accountable for the way I was perceived by every single eye that walked or drove by as I was shinning a message of hatred or disdain. Should we hate the sinner, no. Should we hate the sin, absolutely. I hate sodomy, drunkeness, adultery, fornication, etc. However, I'm just a sinner saved by grace who beleives the attribute of humbleness is one we all could use a little more of.

Thank u for commenting, I truly appreciate it. I will however address the concerns u mentioned above: first yes I do represent the church, being called by God and comissioned by the local assembly to preach the gospel. Sec no I am not perfect but I am Saved by grace and now a new creature indwelled by the Holy spirit, and completely different than I used to be, I was a drunkard, fornicator and a million other things but not any more and I now have a burden to reach others with the same gospel that changed me, and btw it's the only 1 that can! Repentance toward God and faith toward Jesus Christ. And yes these men have proven themselves to be of the strongest of character, otherwise they would NOT be allowed the be there! Some are preachers others are just concedrned church members who want to make a difference, and God is glorified through the preaching of His word whether any 1 is converted or not ie- Noah, Elijah, Jeremiah, and others. I beleive u mistake a spirit of Righteous indignation for arrogance as well, I am angry that America has fallen so far! I am very jealous for the Lord of Hosts and I don't mind it showing, it's not arrogance, nor was it when the Lord Jesus and Apostles preached on the streets of Palistine. ReplyDeleteFirst of all I guess you have never seen the verse, if so be ye suffer for the cause of Christ, happy are ye (paraphrased)! We do not glory in getting arrested, we try our best not to! But sometimes the police back us up into a corner, where it's either: quit preaching and tuck tail and run, or keep preaching and be arrested! We have done both, led by the HOLY GHOST!!
People like you are why America is going to HELL in a handbasket! You are too concerned about what PEOPLE think, than what GOD thinks and says in HIS WORD! If you don't want to obey God and go out "into the highways and hedges", don't; but don't come on here and try to correct us!!
YES we are preaching hate, hate for the sin! We have never once said that we hate the sinner, but who commits the sin?? the sinner!! Psalms 5:5, he hateth the WORKERS of iniquity! sinners need to realize that God hates the sin they are commiting! Truth is Hate to those who hate the truth!
One more thing, I could keep going on and on, but I have more important things to do! I seem to recall a verse in Matt that says we are supposed to be a light and salt to the world! Have you ever been in a dark room with no light? and have your eyes got accustomed to it? what happens when someone walks in and turns the light on? It hurts, and you probably got mad! right? well, the sinner is in darkness, and when the light of the glorious Gospel shines in, it will hurt!!! And I seem to recall somewhere else where the Bible is a sharp two edged sword! what are swords used for? to CUT! and getting cut hurts! we are supposed to be salt as well, to make the sinners thirsty for Christ! and the ones who refuse to become thirsty, salt is used as a curent! it cures dead things! Salt will sting and burn if you get it in a cut (caused by a sword)!!! The natural man receiveth not the things of God, for they are foolishness unto him (paraphrased again)!
so do us a favor, go hide in your little hole until Christ returns (In flaming fire taking vengeance on SIN? no, but on those who KNOW NOT GOD!!!); or get busy about the Father's business!!
Wake up America and REPENT!! Jesus is coming soon!!!!

I guess my question is this: When you judge people on the streets, when you picket and demean and "warn," how often do you see people coming to repentance and salvation?
ReplyDeleteIn my own walk with Jesus, I've seen more people come to faith and new life when I LOVE them and accept them where they are than when I pronounce judgment on them. It is the kindness of Christ that brings many to repentance. I know that was certainly true in my life.
I'm honestly curious, not trying to argue. Do you ever see people come to Jesus as a result of your street preaching ministry?

Thank you for visiting friend, however if we must see results to be "right" then Noah was wrong, Jeremiah was wrong, Isaiah was wrong and Elijah as well. God is glorified by the preaching of the Cross of Christ Repentance toward God and Faith toward Jesus Christ even if no one gets saved as a result. That being said I have a man in my church that listened to God's word on the street while he was outside the court room awaiting trial. He wept, repented and has been faithfully serving God for over a year now, which is the greatest evidence of Salvation Christ said. The greatest show of love is truth, this is the way the Apostles did things whether we agree on it or not, we have this pattern. Paul said "knowing the TERROR of the Lord , we pursuade men". God is love absolutely, but God ALWAYS deals with sin FIRST, see John chapter 8: Every one wants God to love them, but not everyone wants to give up a life of self and sin, Jesus said follow me! As for judging we are commanded to do so,John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Let God be true and everyman a liar. ReplyDeleteAmen Bro Jeremy! I just got done reading 1 Cor 1! I suggest "Anonymous" read it! especially verses 17-25! Paul said a mouthful! I could quote what it says, but it would take too long!!! so "Anonymous" if you are really interested in what the Bible says, read it please!!!! There are many many verses on this sub, but these are some good ones to start out on!! Also read Romans 10:14-17!! Great Scripture!

Neither God, Christ, or any of the apostles accepted anybody for who they were!!! If that were so-the rich young ruler wouldn't have gone away! They COMMAND ALL MEN EVERYWHERE TO REPENT!!!! Unless they come Christ's way, they can't come!!
And we are not "pronouncing judgment on them"!!! They are condemned already-John 3:18-21 & 36!! God is going to pour out judgment on them, and it is our job to warn them!!!! Your way of "evangelizing" or whatever you want to call it, is not Biblical!!!
let me say this, I do not hate you, but I truly do wish you would look at the BIBLE! You have not used 1 verse to back up "your" belief! It don't matter what you think, I think, or anybody thinks-it matters what the Bible says!!!!!
